A simple scroll through Instagram will tell you a lot about COVID-19 and fashion. There’s no lack of sweats sets, but on the other hand, fashion lovers are also dressing up purely for the sake of dressing up, without ever venturing outside.
Designers are already using their skills to create fashionable, reusable fabric facial coverings that go along with their aesthetic and match some of their signature pieces.
But beyond what we’re all wearing now, the simple act of shopping is another thing that is rapidly changing — and that is, in turn, changing how we dress. With brick-and-mortar shops closed in most states, everyone has had to shop online to buy clothing. And there’s definitely been a rise in young people spending their money on clothes online.
Along with that,Glossyreported that some shopping resale sites seem to be doing increased sales in April, which means people will be wearing a lot more vintage and secondhand clothing when COVID-19 ends.
So my advise to you is to leverage on the fashion resource you already have at your disposal, because all of the above is not far fetched.
